Luna Blanca’s development team is headed by Daniel Omar Chávez, a former President of the Stanford Business School Real Estate Club.
As part of his real estate career, Daniel Omar Chávez had the valuable opportunity of working for Hines in Project Management. Hines is one of the largest and most respected development companies in the world. Headquartered in Houston, TX, Hines has built some of the highest quality and most innovative buildings in the U.S. and around the world. The company is also famous for its adherence to the ‘Hines Standard’, which is a standard of excellence that goes well beyond what is required and expected in the market place.
Prior to focusing full time on real estate, our lead developer spent two years as a Strategy Consultant with McKinsey & CO, the firm that advises more Fortune 500 CEO’s and heads of state than any other consulting company in the world. Based out of Dallas, TX, Daniel Omar Chávez and his fellow consultants helped CEO’s and Senior Executives of important companies address some of their most challenging issues. Specific client work included projects in High-Tech, Telecom, Retail and Hospitality in various U.S. cities and during a two month residency in India. While at McKinsey, Daniel Omar Chávez also Co-Authored a Management Study on Best Practices that was jointly published in 2001 by McKinsey & CO and the Harvard Business School.
In addition, Daniel Omar Chávez worked briefly in New York, NY as a Financial Analyst for Goldman Sachs, a world-renowned Wall Street firm that is commonly recognized as the leader in financial service innovation and client service excellence.
Daniel Omar Chávez holds a B.A. degree in Economics and a B.A. degree in Managerial Studies, both from Rice University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the R.H. Pitman “Most Outstanding Senior” Award. He also has an MBA degree from Stanford University, where he represented Stanford Business School in the Top MBA Real Estate Finance Challenge 2002, and was a VUS with concentration in Economics at Harvard University, where he earned Dean’s List standing.
